returns & exchanges

Items may be returned to us within 10 days of receipt for a full refund of the cost of goods. Returned items must be unused, unworn, and in perfect condition. 
Once we receive your return, we will contact you via email to confirm that your refund has been processed towards the credit card used in your transaction. This generally takes one to two business days.
Shipping fees, both domestic and international, and where applicable other associated charges are non-refundable. You will be responsible for shipping fees and any other applicable charges for an item that is returned.

Gift Returns:
Items received as a gift may be returned for store credit only. The giftee is responsible for return shipping fees. Items that are returned are to include a copy of the order. Items purchased with store credit cannot be returned or exchanged.

Special Orders are considered final and cannot be returned or exchange.

Exchange of Items.
If you wish to make an exchange, please place a new order online and return your original item/s separately. Your new order will be released for shipping once Kin Stories is in receipt of the original item that is being exchanged.

Please note that we do not accept liability for lost shipment/s or damage of returned goods. It is advised that you send your return via a trackable service. Kin Stories will not refund international duties and taxes. For more information on reclaiming international duties and taxes, please contact your local customs service.

Sale Items:
Merchandise purchased ‘on sale’ or during any seasonal discount promotion is considered final and cannot be returned or exchanged. We do not offer sale price adjustments.

Damaged Items:
If the product you receive has a defect, please contact us within 10 days for replacement, and/or refund at our option. Any defective items purchased from other Kin Stories retailers need to be returned to those retailers. Kin Stories reserves the right to determine what is normal wear and tear and what is a defective product.
